The LEO Club of Palos Story

The grandchildren of longtime beloved member of the Palos Lions Club, Tom Post – Bella, Mia, Chance and Indy Narciso – launched the Leo Club of Palos with an induction ceremony on August 8th at the Palos Park Recreation Center. This youth-driven community based service organization, guided and supported by the Palos Lions Club, will focus on supporting local shelters, organizing food drives, and improving the needs of our Palos community. LEO stands for Leadership, Experience and Opportunity and the Palos club joins the ranks of over 7,700 Leo Clubs with over 200,000 Leos in over 150 countries.

“Our grandfather taught us the importance of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others,” said Mia Narciso speaking on behalf of her siblings. “It’s not just about continuing his work; it’s about carrying forward the values he instilled in us. We want to ensure that his legacy of kindness remains a vibrant part of our community.”

Chance Narciso observed “We’re excited to bring the community together in celebration of our grandfather’s life and to support the causes he cared deeply about. We invite anyone ages 12-18 to join the Leo Club of Palos and learn the importance of serving others and making our community a better place.”

The Leo Club of Palos is not only a heartfelt tribute but a call to action for others to join in the spirit of giving. By following in their grandfather’s footsteps, the Narciso kids are inspiring others to embrace the same values of compassion and community service that defined Tom Post’s life.
